Meet the Dentist: Dr. Anu Preet Samra

A DDS degree graduate from the University of Alberta, Dr. Anu Preet Samra has been working as an associate dentist since the year 2005. She began her dental education in India from DAV Dental College before immigrating to Canada with her family in 1990.

Following her graduation from the University of Alberta, Dr. Anu Preet Samra worked as an associate dentist in Edmonton, and then moved to Toronto in 2016 to be closer to her family. After some years of experience working alongside various principle dentists and at the University of Alberta, Dr. Samra realized she wanted to be in charge of her own practice in order to pro-vide personalized care to her patients, and to ensure that her patients always left feeling that their every need and concern was being listened to and addressed.

With years of experience practicing dentistry, Dr. Anu Preet Samra strives to create a caring, trusting and safe dental environment for her patients at Groot Dental. Outside of dentistry, Dr. Samra enjoys sports, biking and long walks along the lake, and values family (including her lovely husband and son) more than anything.
